Marathon photos.com have added a new gizmo to their sales range of event photos.
Having recently run the Bupa Great North Run, they have sent me an email with a cool link showing my race route, my running compared to Male and Femal Winners and elevations times and video and photo links from around the course, all on to a satellite map.

In an effort to incentivise running activites for amatuer and club runners, Run Britian have set up a reward scheme in association with Adidas and Sennheiser.

Reward Running 2011, in association with Sennheiser and adidas is a new and unique loyalty scheme for runners of all standards. Even better than that, it takes the form of a virtual race for runbritain's online community that finishes on New Year's Eve this year.
To claim your rewards visit your profile page or click here to register for both the rewards and a handicap.
Between now and then you can claim Reward Running miles for achieving 13 different measures of progress within running – ranging from training mileage, frequency of racing, joining a group or club, lowering your handicap score, raising £111 or more for charity. The totaliser on your runner’s biog page updates as you claim these and work towards the perfect score of 2,011 Reward Running miles in 2011.
We will be maintaining deep leaderboards nationally and regionally and a news ticker across the homepage at www.runbritain.com will acknowledge individual Reward Runners who have recently achieved new Rewards. This will also build towards some fantastic end-of-year prizes with 180 pairs of Sennheiser’s superb CX 680i, CX 680, PMX 680i, PMX 680 & SX 680 headphones being awarded to our top Reward Runners and an adidas Mi-Coach system (RRP £120) to the top finisher in each nation and region of the UK - 14 in total.
Don’t worry if you are brand new to running or sign up late in the year, the Reward categories give everyone a chance of winning as well as achieving their personal goals for the year. Good luck.
East of England Rankings currently show me in 5th place, but with another PB if I'm fit to run the Bupa Great South Run and entry in 4 UK Licensed Road Races could see me with 1501 points and 2nd place.
